Yes, you can decide 2 colors for free.
But if you want more of than two colors of the same image, you will have to pay an extra $10 per auxiliary color.
PSD vs Ai (Source file), Which is adequately?
PSD is Photoshop File Format and Ai is Illustrator File Format.
Ai is better than PSD as Ai is a vector file.
In a vector file you can zoom from 0 to 1000+ or resize the image from 10 pix to 10000+ pix, still, the image won't get pixilated. But in PSD it gets pixilated if you zoom/ resize too muc
