Job Description

I have a Python-based Amazon MX restock monitor script that was working perfectly until recently. A few hours ago, it started returning 404 errors on all requests. I’ve already tried changing proxies and other common fixes, but the issue persists.

The script has been running smoothly for over two years, so I believe something in Amazon’s API or request structure has changed. I need a skilled Python developer to quickly diagnose and fix the problem so the monitor works again as before.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze the current Python script (link provided via WeTransfer)

Identify why requests are returning 404 errors

Update or patch the code to restore proper functionality

Ensure it runs smoothly again with working proxy handling

Deliverables:

Fixed and working Python script

Short note explaining what was changed and why

Additional Info:

The project is urgent — I’d like it fixed within 24–48 hours if possible.
