Dropshipping Shopify Assistant/Partner Required

Job Description
I want to launch a Shopify dropshipping store targeting the UAE and USA market and looking for a hands-on partner to build and run it with me.What I bring:
Full investment — store setup costs, product samples, ad spend, tools/subscriptions.
Product sourcing direction.
UAE or USA market and logistics background
What I need from you:
Shopify store setup and ongoing management (theme, product listings, checkout/payment/COD setup)
Running paid ads (Meta/TikTok/Google) and creative for the UAE audience
Day-to-day store operations — order processing, customer service, coordinating with supplier fulfillment
Ongoing product research and testing
Compensation:
60/40 split of net profits. No fixed salary — this is a genuine partnership where your reward scales with the store's performance. All operating costs are covered upfront by me; profit is split after costs.
Ideal candidate:
Proven experience running or scaling a Shopify store (dropshipping experience strongly preferred)
Comfortable with UAE or USA COD-based e-commerce
Self-directed — this is a partnership, not a managed job

Questions
- Have you built or managed a Shopify store before? If yes, share the store URL(s) or a brief description (even if it's no longer live)?
- What was your role on that store — did you handle it solo, or as part of a team?
- What specifically did you do (setup, ads, fulfillment, customer service)?
- Have you run paid ads before (Meta, Google)? What was the approximate monthly ad budget you managed, and what results did you see (ROAS, conversion rate, or similar)?
- Have you worked with Cash on Delivery (COD) order fulfillment before? If yes, describe briefly.
- This is a 60/40 profit-share partnership, not a paid job — there's no fixed salary while the store is getting off the ground. Are you comfortable with that arrangement? Why or why not?
How many hours per week can you realistically commit to this?
Do you have your own laptop/internet setup, and are you available during UAE working hours (GST) for coordination?
What's your availability to start, and how soon could we have a working store live?
Is there anything about your past e-commerce experience — good or bad — that you think is relevant for me to know before we partner?
