CTO / Head of Development – Startup MVP Build (Full Commitment)

We are an early-stage startup building an online supermarket platform (web + mobile) for the Belgian market, targeting both B2B and B2C customers.

We are looking for an experienced CTO / Technical Lead to take full ownership of the technical side of the project and assemble a development team from scratch.

This is an 8-week sprint marathon: the MVP must be delivered functioning, scalable, and polished in just 8 weeks. We are looking for candidates who can dedicate themselves exclusively to this project during this period—no side jobs or other commitments.

Responsibilities

Define the technical architecture for the platform (web + mobile)
Recruit and manage a small development team (backend, frontend, mobile, UI/UX)
Plan and oversee sprints, tasks, and milestones
Lead the team and contribute hands-on to development when necessary
Ensure the platform is stable, scalable, and production-ready
Collaborate closely with the founder to align technical execution with product vision

Product Requirements

Web and mobile application
Full e-commerce functionality (catalog, orders, payments)
Inventory and order management
B2B and B2C workflows
Clean UI/UX and responsive design

Key Expectations

Strong experience in full-stack architecture and scalable systems
Ability to build and lead a development team
Comfortable in a high-pressure, fast-paced startup environment
100% commitment for 8 weeks (exclusive focus on this project)
Delivery of a working MVP on time, with high-quality UX/UI

Incentive
