Responsibilities with respect to Accounts and Finance
-Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
-Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
-Preparation of financial statements which comprises of Statement of Financial Position / Balance Sheet, Income Statement / Profit or loss account, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and Notice to the Accounts
-Analyze the business needs fulfilled by the financial resources, financial forecasts and business activity reports
-Supervision of the organization’s financial records and recordkeeping methods are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
-Review of salaries & wages for deductions and accuracy after final prepared by H.R and arrange payments-
-Preparation of the budget for the organization based on the information provided by the business and the best available market research information
-Periodically review the organization’s financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction
-Analyze data and advise top management on how to maximize the profits
-Manual and Computerized booking-keeping / vouching (Cash, Bank & J.V) in MS Excel & ERP
-Maintaining of Vendors Records and reconciliation with suppliers periodically in MS Excel & ERP
-Preparation of Receipt and payment account including petty cash payments in MS Excel & ERP
-Preparation of Export Realization / Receivables as well as Bank reconciliation statements
Responsibilities with respect to Taxation
-Preparation and submission of monthly Sales Tax Returns (FBR & PRA), as well as all the associated work that, is necessary to submit the returns
-Preparation and submission of annual Income Tax Returns as well as quarterly withholding tax statements
-Ensure that withholding tax is deducted on all payments to suppliers, service providers employees etc. where should be deducted
-Preparation of documents/details required for the compliance of notices received from FBR, PRA and SECP
-Managing Taxation matters and preparation of documents for internal records and providing to consultants as required for any special purposes
-Vouching for all transactions & maintaining of ledger records of all heads for accounts preparation and FBR Audit purpose
-Preparation of Financial Statements quarterly as per tax records
-Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe as per Management required
-Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns and other tax department issues
-Identify and mitigate tax risks with day-to-day planning, implementation and supervision
-Coordinate with accounting staff for tax payments, planning and record maintaining etc.
